Susan spent 38 years at Merrill Lynch, RBC, and Richardson Wealth advising business owners and executives through the most significant transitions of their professional lives. She sold her own practice in 2019 and experienced the personal side of transition firsthand. This program reflects both her professional experience and her own journey. Nothing in it is theoretical.
Marianne Oehser

Marianne brings a background in management and lived experience navigating several major career transitions. As a Certified Professional Retirement Coach, she has spent over a decade developing practical frameworks that help people navigate major life changes with greater clarity and intention. The Happiness Portfolio® was built through her work with real clients.
Next Chapter Lifestyle Advisors focuses on the part of transition that is often overlooked, how prepared someone is for life beyond the business. They help advisors and business owners bring structure to the personal side of transition, identity, purpose, lifestyle, and readiness for change, and integrate it into financial and business planning.
Susan and Marianne serve as faculty for the Exit Planning Institute CEPA program, teaching the Personal Planning module. They both hold the CEPA designation.
